Development Work at MCO Terminal A
Orlando International Airport is investing around USD 351+ million in the modernization of the North Terminal building, as many projects are listed. These are aimed at making passenger facilities, parking, gates, restrooms, and the overall travel experience better at Terminal A.

Renovation of Airside 1: Gates 1-29 will go through a major upgrade, which is expected to start in 2026 and be completed by 2030. These upgrades include interiors, lighting, seating, gate counters, and wayfinding.

Expansion of Airside 2 Gates: The airport has approved funding for 7 new gates at Airside 2. The work is expected to start soon.

Restroom Upgrades: To ensure wider capacity, restrooms located across the North Terminal are being renovated. The construction work is scheduled to start by winter 2026 and may be completed by 2029.

Interior Improvements of Terminal A & B: The work will take place between 2028 and 2030 to renew levels 2 and 3 to give a fresh look to wayfinding, seating, lighting, food court, and flooring.
